Board of Health member Dennis Randall expressed concerns regarding Kingston preparedness to enact a plan on this matter." I tend to agree with the previous statements that it's better to err on the side of caution, " he said." What I've heard tonight has not convinced me, however, that Kingston is prepared to unilaterally set a policy that has not yet been adopted by the by either the Mass. Department of Public Health or any other regulatory agencies, " he said." There's a lot of expertise involved in making this decision, and how we do that within our emergency plan has not been addressed this evening.I don't want us to make a rush to judgement, " he said.Chairman Kenney was not swayed by these concerns. " We're the Board of Selectmen, the chief executive officers of this town, and I won't go to the board of health to make my decision.I like input, I want input, but I am not going to sit here and listen to you and you're chairman tell me how to run my meeting, " he said.
