CAMDEN WATERFRONT, NJ - March 10, 2008 - The Home Port Alliance (HPA) for the USS New Jersey, America's most decorated battleship, together with Troy Collins, CEO of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, announced during their Annual Meeting the appointment of five new members to the Board of Trustees - Dennis Levitt, Ernest Posner, Judith Roman, John Ryan and Denny Shupe -- and the appointment of Patricia Egan Jones as Chair of the Board.
Dennis Levitt, a volunteer at the Battleship since it was berthed at the Camden Waterfront, was a former marketing director in the automotive industry.Levitt, who resides in Yardley, PA, managed marketing and sales for several luxury automobile dealerships, and, most recently, served as Director of Affinity and Dealer Program Development - Auto Services Division for Priceline.com.A graduate of Temple University, Levitt has assisted the Battleship's Curatorial Department as a volunteer for the past several years.
