In another part of the hospital is Denny Eccles, manager of environmental services and a Packers fan for 42 years. He's one of Hagenlocher's e-mail foes.Eccles said he began rooting for the Packers when he was 10, mostly out of pity for the perennial underdogs. In recent years - since Brett Favre's arrival in Green Bay in 1992 - Eccles said, Bears fans have typically been quiet this time of the year. That's not the case now."It all depends on what the records are," he said, adding that Bears fans have been "fired up" recently.Denny Eccles, manager of environmental services at SwedishAmerican Hospital, goes over an e-mail from a Bears fan Friday in front of the Packers shrine in his office.
