Denise has spent over fifteen years in a variety of senior HR leadership roles, corporate and consulting, with a focus on Organizational Development and Learning & Development, addressing Leadership Capability, Change and both People and Business Performance Improvement.
These roles have included global remit working both in Australia and the US across a range of industry sectors (commercial, government and not-for-profit).
Most recently, Denise has focused on the Financial Services and Energy (Oil & Gas) sectors and her current global role is with Weatherford as Global Director of Organizational Development and HR (Global Supply Chain).Denise is an experienced facilitator and coach focusing on behavioral-change work.She is both a proven strategist and practitioner, able to assist an organization to move through from strategy to execution.
Contributing to this has been her extensive experience enabling her to take advantage of many interesting opportunities and challenges in her career.
This has included developing a television pilot around the future of work for Gen Y shown nationally on Australian television and building a variety of development programs in greenfield HR sites assisting both the organization and the HR community to transform.
Having led both small and large teams in fast-moving sectors, Denise offers a breadth of practical experience, understanding and skill, underpinned by her knowledge of and expertise in Organizational Development, Learning & Development and Performance Improvement.
She has become a trusted advisor and true business partner to senior and executive leadership and is most recently developing leadership and rotation programs, while addressing global mobility and recruitment issues across her role remit.Denise has commenced her Doctorate in Education (EdD), and holds numerous certifications, including Advanced MSCEIT (Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test), Change Management, TMS, and The 4 Disciplines of Execution. ly Denise enjoys spearheading Organizational Development work around Execution on Strategy which has underpinned remarkable cultural and behavioral change, and performance improvement results at an individual, team and organizational level.
She enjoys the challenge of working in and with ambiguous and maturing organizations, as in the O&G environment.
Importantly Denise brings an out-of-the box approach to her thinking in HR and Supply Chain and considers her non-traditional approach to add value in complex, developing 21st Century contexts.
For this reason Denise is also a widely requested guest speaker in the OD, HR and Supply Chain communities of practice.
