Denise Lamphier is the new Regional Director for the Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network- Northern Region starting December 5, 2011.
will serve a 17 county region from a home base at United Way of Elkhart County
Denise brings a wide range of experience from her most recent position at Indiana University Health-La Porte Hospital where she was the Director of Volunteer Services.
She had key roles with the La Porte Hospital Foundation and the La Porte Hospital Auxiliary, a nonprofit organization of IU Health La Porte Volunteers.
responsibilities included volunteer recruitment, training and development, marketing, legislative policy analysis, older adult programming, community relations, educational conference and event planning, extensive internship program development, gift shop management, and related budget management.
managed a staff of 7, recruited and managed nearly 400 volunteers, and coordinated and placed over 60 student interns throughout the organization.
also had liaison roles with community organizations involved with older adults in La Porte County.
Previously she was a Land Use Policy Specialist for Michigan Farmland and Community Alliance (MFCA), a nonprofit arm of the Michigan Farm Bureau.
While there she
coordinated and led the annual membership drive, implemented program goals, reviewed and analyzed legislation related to land use and local governmental planning policy.
Denise has a BS in Public Resource Management, with Honor, from Michigan State University and completed a National Internship Faculty of Arts Program at Australian National University in Canberra, Australia.
