Denis Artiles, the hotel's general manager, reported receiving death threats over the phone on June 2, 3 and 7.
In a charge filed June 8 with the National Labor Relations Board, Artiles specifically implicates the union in these phone calls, also saying the hotel's director of operations, Eduardo Canas, was similarly threatened.
"By these and other acts, the union has restrained and coerced employees of the Sheraton Hotel," Artiles
said in the charge.
The release also said Artiles
was threatened in March, and that this had also been reported to the police.
