DELBERT TERWEYHe was born and raised in the Freeport - St Rosa area and graduated from Melrose High School in 1959.He was united in marriage to Donna Schaaf on Oct. 16, 1965 in Murdock.He lived for several years in St. Louis Park and Circle Pines, and was employed by the Twin Town Box Corporation until moving to Grand Rapids in 1980 where he worked for Arrowhead Promotion and Fulfillment.He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and also was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Grand Rapids.Del was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eleanor (Herkenhoff) TerweyHe is survived by his wife: Donna; one daughter: Dawn Terwey of Virginia; and one granddaughter: Breanna Terwey of VirginiaThree sisters: Donna (Vincent) Haider of Elrosa, and Phyllis (Jerry) Blenker of Melrose, Mary Ann (Ray) Fuchs of Albany; four brothers: Lawrence (Delores) of Sauk Center, LaVerne (Shirley) of Apple Valley, James (Joyce) of Melrose, and Arthur (Rita) of Melrose.Mass Of Christian burial was Tuesday, Jan. 22 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Rapids.Rev. Fr. Thomas Radaich officiated.
