are committed to making your term as a State Officer a successful and rewarding experience.
Your cooperation, communication, and responsiveness to their requests are vital to the progress of DECA
.The State Advisor must be copied on all state officer correspondence.
Finances and implementation of policies and procedures are responsibilities of the State Advisor.State Officers are not authorized to enter into any contractual relationship, or make commitments on behalf of the association, without specific authorization of the State Advisor.

Leadership Training for State Officers
Leadership is an ongoing experience and so is the training necessary to achieve the high standards expected by those who are served by DECA's state and provincial officers.
is a three-part series of training centering on the officer, management, and leadership skills needed to guide a state/province to a successful year.
The quest of DECA LEADS continues to be dynamic officer training that produces a unified, accountable, and results-driven partnership between the international, state/provincial, and local levels.
