Fort Wayne Community Schools High School Area Administrator Debra Faye Williams-Robbins said the district still has a long way to go in improving its grading system, but it plans for changes to be enacted beginning next school year.
"The big takeaway is consistency and accuracy, regardless of whose class you're in," said Williams-Robbins
told parents the district hasn't decided or finalized anything.
A joint task force with teachers and administrators is working on the changes, gathering input from principals, parents and students.
said the district will hold another meeting with parents to explain changes before they're implemented.
