When asked about her competitive advantage over other agents, Debi White of Prudential Utah Real Estate doesn't hesitate for a moment with her answer.
What brought Debi
into the real estate business was a series of events and what she
calls "The Law of Attraction."
"I believe that what you truly want you are attracted to.
I'm attracted to people and what they want and need.
Debi worked with Chicago Title in California as an escrow officer when her children were young and determined that with that background, real estate would fit right in. In her mid-thirties, however, her determination and commitment were put to the test.
"I was physically and mentally abused by my past husband and fled to Utah with three small children and the clothes on my back," she
"Talk about character building!
With no money, no job and only my parents to lean on, I realized women didn't have any say back in the 70's, we couldn't even get our electricity turned on without a man signing for us.
My parents have been my power and strength to keep my head high and my integrity in check.
I vowed to someday own my own business and help others - and what better business to do that than real estate."

has endured hardships that she
has had to overcome, as well.
During 1998, she
worked hard and received her
brokers license, but she
also lost a child in a helicopter crash.
"Joel Carson and Dougan Jones, my friends and owners of Prudential Utah Real Estate
were my strength and mentors through this very difficult time in my life and I owe them my never-ending respect for being there for me and my family.
Again another test has come with the loss of her
soul mate James Innes and another son Andrew in once again a helicopter crash on July 19, 2008.
"A hit which will take a lifetime to heal, but this is what the universe has placed in my path", says Debi
speaks of her
life thus far as "an amazing ride that is just beginning.
Part of that ride includes a little known unique and interesting aspect of Debi's life.
"I was born with a gift of clairvoyance and I've been on the Discovery Channel and assisted in finding lost or missing children and the clearing of homes throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
It is a gift that brings balance to my life and has given great peace to hundreds of people over the years.
also feels that this gift has been a tremendous blessing in working with her
real estate customers.
