Comprised of a husband-wife combo, Roger and Debra Talley, plus their daughter Lauren, the Talley Trio specializes in contemporary gospel.
They have a unique, progressive sound that combines southern gospel with praise and worship, and hymns with lush arrangements, close-knit harmonies and powerful vocals. talley-trio Roger got his start in the 1970's with another gospel outfit, the Hoppers, while Debra sang with the Songmasters Quartet. After their marriage in 1978, Debra joined Roger as part of the Hoppers, and in 1984, formed the Talleys, along with Roger's brother, Kirk.

Roger, Debra and Lauren are involved in many endeavors and keep a busy traveling and recording schedule, but their relationships with God and each other are of paramount importance. Born and raised in Clinton, Kentucky, Debra sang in church from an early age until she began traveling and singing full-time with the Songmasters over 30 years ago. When not on stage, she coordinates the many responsibilities of the group and her family. Debra has received eight Singing News Fan Awards, four Southern Gospel Music Association awards, and numerous nominations for Female Vocalist and Alto of the Year. She has also co-written several songs recorded by the Talley Trio. Her velvety alto voice and warm personality endear her to all that meet her. Debra enjoys decorating, gardening, watching HGTV, and shopping in her spare time.

In gospel music circles, few names are respected and admired as much as Debra Talley.
Born and raised in Clinton, Kentucky, Debra sang in church from an early age until she began traveling and singing full-time with the Song Masters Quartet in 1974. She performed on stage with the Hoppers from 1979-1982. Debra co-founded the Talleys in 1984 with husband Roger and brother-in-law Kirk Talley. In her 37-year career, Debra has received 8 Singing News Fan Awards, 4 Southern Gospel Music Association awards, and numerous nominations for Female Vocalist and Alto of the Year. Debra has been a vocal and performance instructor at the Steve Hurst School of Music for 17 years. She has also co-written several songs recorded by the Talley Trio and other artists, such as "Built On The Rock," "Travelin' Light," "Because Someone Prayed," and "I Still Believe. Debra has been a featured vocalist on many Gaither Homecoming videos and concerts performing her signature song, "Thinkin' About Home.
