She specializes in taxation of non-traditional investments, trust dissolutions, distribution calculations, excess-benefit transactions, and tax advisory services regarding nonprofit entities.
is also equipped to help clients identify and resolve compliance oversight.
Before joining the accounting profession, Deborah
built the framework for her
career during her
undergraduate and graduate studies in social work at the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Alabama
Her professional focus is now on tax compliance and planning for nonprofits, and is augmented by her memberships in the California Society of Enrolled Agents, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (Cal CPA), where she is on the planning committee of the annual Not-For-Profit Accounting Conference.
Deborah serves on the finance committee for two Bay Area children's services organizations.
