in Danville, VA, Debbie's program for the city's children and youth became a model for the state of Virginia.Debbie was the Director of Workforce Preparedness at Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro, NC.In this position, she managed a nationally recognized College Tech. Prep. program aimed at preparing high school students for the world of work.From 2000-2004, Debbie was the Vice President of Operations & Business Development for a large family preservation agency, until she made the decision to organize her own company.Debbie is currently the founder and CEO of Family-Based Strategies, Inc., a private company that provides counseling and intervention services for at-risk youth and families, where the main focus is "Helping Families Help Themselves".In addition, Debbie is now the owner and CEO of Survival Skills Education & Development!
