With more than 25 years of progressive responsibility, Deborah Keasler
is passionate about the field of nursing.
is highly respected leader and a community healthcare advocate.
Having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in microbiology and chemistry in 1981, Deborah completed her nursing degree in 1984.
Additionally, she completed a Masters of Science in Gerontology in 2010.
has spent most of her
professional career at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center
She spent her first eight years as a Cardiac Critical Care bedside nurse and relief charge nurse.
After six years in utilization management for a privately held medical group Deborah
returned to PVHMC
as Director of Case Management.
In 2001 Deborah assumed her current role as Director of Cardiac Services where she is responsible for Cardiac Surgery administration, a 10-bed Cardiac Critical Care unit, a 65-bed Telemetry unit, and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
She is also currently an adjunct faculty member at Chaffey Community College and at the University of La Verne.
Twenty-five nurses were nominated for the honor of being PVHMC's rider on the Nurses' Float for the 2013 Rose Parade; Deborah Keasler
was the committee's choice.
