Dean A. Dalbery
Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer Mr. Dalbery has over 15 years of experience in managed healthcare. Prior to joining the Company, he served as V.P. of Managed Care for MedPartners' South Florida Region from July 1996. He supported both the PPM and MSO divisions of MedPartners in areas of payor, network and practice services with special emphasis on global risk and messenger model contracting. Mr. Dalbery was the founder and CEO of Health Access, Inc., a multi-state Preferred Provider Organization. From December 1990 through May 1995, he operated multi-payor PPO programs in four states, taking Health Access from inception to enrollment of over 250,000 members. In May 1995, Health Access was sold to Community Care Network (CCN), a subsidiary of Value Health, Inc. (NYSE:VH). From November 1985 through December 1990, Mr. Dalbery served as Director of Program Development for Heritage Health Plan (currently Foundation Health Plan.) As a founding associate of HHP, he developed and directed numerous managed care programs including the company's first dual-option and provider risk sharing programs. Mr. Dalbery attended St. John's University in New York and the University of Miami and received his BA in Marketing.
