David Peter Wyon, researcher and visiting professor at the International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in CopenhagenDavid Wyon is known for his research into how human behaviour is affected by indoor environments.
During 40 years of field and laboratory experiments, he has shown that relatively small differences in factors such as temperature, humidity, air quality and noise can have large effects on health, comfort and productivity.
Although most of his work was on conditions in various kinds of buildings, from schools to offices and factories, he has also studied the effects of travelling in different types of transportation, including cars, trucks, buses and most recently, aircraft cabins.
David has lived and worked in 4 continents, and lives at present in France.
He is a visiting professor at the International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy at DTU in Copenhagen, which he helped to found in 1997.
