He also serves as chairman and CEO of NDEX, which provides technology and loss mitigation services to the mortgage industry. Trott and NDeX employees contributed funds and/or volunteer hours at Starfish Family Services, a nonprofit organization located in Inkster serving thousands of children and families annually in metro Detroit. Employee volunteers paired up in teams to paint several classrooms and facilitate an end of the season clean up in the nonprofit's organic garden-harvesting crops, weeding and preparing the garden for fall. In total, 55 employees from both companies donated 220 volunteer hours and $2,245 to the cause. Trott and NDeX also matched their employees' monetary contributions, bringing the donations grand total to $4,490. "Our yearlong corporate giving initiatives have consistently allowed us to come together as a team to benefit many worthwhile causes throughout the area," said Trott.
