IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Dave Trader GalaxE.Solutions Inc., Detroit, a software development IT firm, has named Dave Trader to the new position of chief security officer. Trader, 34, had been senior security analyst with Molina Health Care, Troy. Trader earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an information technology focus from Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C. Trader is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the FBI's Detroit InfraGard team.

Dave Trader - PPS Dave has been in Corporate Security for over 12 years now. He is goal and project oriented and has not been given very many tasks he hasn't seen through from inception to completion.  Mr. Trader is very well versed in information technology, and has a strong computer background; that coupled with his vast security background makes him a very valuable asset to any security detail. Dave is trained as a MCNA, CISSP and Ethical Hacker with Security + and Network + Certifications. His programming languages include C++, Adobe Suite, Linux, and many more. Dave excels in personal protection and investigations. Dave find's vulnerabilities and exposes them to make the organization as a whole stronger and more secure. In 1998, Mr. Trader enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he faithfully served eight years.  While serving his country as a Reserve Marine in 2001, Mr. Trader was brought onto the Executive Security Team with Ford Motor Company operating out of Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI. During his time with Ford Motor Company and as a Reserve Marine, Dave decided to become certified in many aspects of emergency response. He is a certified Fire Fighter, EMT, and Police Officer in Michigan. He is also a certified Incident Commander for the Department of Homeland Security Office of Domestic Preparedness in dealing with mass casualty incidents. Dave graduated from the Executive Protection Institute in Barryville, VA; an academy endorsed by the United States Secret Service for Executive Protection. Mr. Trader maintains a membership with the institute as a Nine Lives Associate. Mr. Trader joined the Corporate Security Team for Sirius XM Satellite Radio in 2005 and helped the company achieve a more secure posture.  Dave led many internal investigations succesfully. Mr. Trader networked with many of the largest labels in the music entertainment industry and now offers them security solutions from his company, Executive Operations. Mr. Trader has protected many executives, celebrities, and political personalities throughout the United States.  Most of Mr. Trader's clients request him personaly whenever he's available.  Mr. Trader was featured in Security Managment Magazine in 2009 as one of the up and coming security professionals of the year. Mr. Trader is a member of the FBI's InfraGard program out of the Washington DC Office. Dave operates at a very fast pace. He can multi-task like no other. He works incredibly well under immense pressure. He sticks to his training and remains cool, calm, and collected at all times. Executives often rely on him for accurate results which he delivers.
