Pastor David Rocha began as a young pastor who wanted to have a church.
We used our childrens ministry to help his Emmanuel Church in Tijuana start and grow. I was told by Pastor David Rocha when he helped me form my nonprofit corporation in mexico that I could not be president of the association and could not put the land in my name. So of course trusting Pastor David Rocha we put his name as the president and the person to own the land. He said that he would later put the land in the name of the corporation so that it would always be an orphanage. But of course this was a LIE!!! He also told me that at a later date he would put me as president of the corporation. Of course he lied again. So I went to an attorney and changed the corporation papers making me president. Americans please be careful when dealing with Pastor David Rocha. I had a worker Dalila and her husband Roberto were endangering the children by repeatedly leaving them alone at the orphanage at night without adult supervision. They also repeatedly brought adult friends to to the orphanage who should never have been allowed to be in the orphanage. Some with a history of drug use. I repeatedly talked to them and they basically said that they both needed to go to work at the church with Pastor David Rocha and that the kids would be okay. The folowing Monday Pastor David Rocha and Dalila went to the government and spred more lies about me. Making it appear that I was not taking care of the children. They wanted me out of my orphanage. I do not blame the government because they were only protecting the children. Today they and Pastor David Rocha called the police and would not allow me to enter my property where my wife and I spent thousand of dollars to build a great safe orphanage. I asked if I could enter and remove my tools and my Bible and Bible Commentery but he said no!! The police explained to me that he had the right to deny me acess because he owned the land. The police were very polite and helpful. Do not support or connect with Pastor David Rocha. There are good people in Mexico, but be careful. Americans can own land in Mexico. Never allow a Mexican citizen to put it in their name. We supported and worked with Pastor David Rocha believing he was a fair righteous Christian man. We helped start his church and continued to give him $400 dollars each and every month to support the church that we helped start for the the past 5 years.. We trusted this man and he lied to us and took our orphanage from us. believe his motivation was getting money from Americans. Many groups with great hearts go to Mexico to help children and those in need. The orphanage would be a source of a lot of money for him. He wanted us out and his 3 year plan worked. We are not allowed to visit our orphanage and he sits and waits for the next group of rich Americns to come and give him money to support his orphanage. We are almost ready to throw in the towel and let Pastor David Rocha and Dalila and Robert take the orphanage from us. We have two new brothers who have joined us, Luis and David. Pastor David and his workers are doing a wonderful job. Julie and I do Bible stories and crafts with the 5 year old and younger group. Sometimes we can have 40 children in our group, What A Blessing!! Ninos Para Dios Orphanage is almost finished. We have 6 children and will grow when we finish. We are so fortunate to have been asked to work jointly with Pastor David and pastor Armando to build and be part of running another larger orphanage, Bethseda Orphanage. Pastor David will be working with us. I talked with Pastor David who is helping us get a cement mixer, forms, tools, and will store our sand, gravel, and cement. Pastor David Rocha was able to get the funding to purchase the church. His Sunday congregation is growing. It is being built by Pastor David who is also a metal worker.
