Mr. Pritchard started his business career as a marketing executive for a division of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Pritchard then worked as an operations consultant for packaging companies and breweries in developing countries, living in Mexico, Brazil, and Venezuela. Thereafter, Mr. Pritchard went to work for Schlumberger Ltd., traveling and living in France, Africa, South Asia and the Middle East and ending up in New York City. His next career turn came as a banker with Chase Manhattan Bank. He then moved to several small financial advisory and private investment companies. Afterwards, he went on to a series of senior financial positions at Gulf & Western Industries, now Viacom Corporation. Later he became the vice president of corporate affairs for HBO. Mr. Pritchard also was a board member of Circle Rep and Second Stage, two successful off-Broadway theater companies. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Pritchard has been a senior advisor to multiple entertainment and technology oriented companies. He has started and sold production companies which created hit comedy and reality TV shows, produced films and created the first interactive internet channel for Time Warner/US West.
As an operating executive, Mr. Pritchard has been the president and CEO of several publicly traded NASDQ and AMEX traded companies in the entertainment sector: including film, television and commercial production and distribution companies; internet and interactive content companies; music libraries and publishing companies. In the role of chief executive, on multiple occasions, he has scaled companies from start-up to over 800 employees and doubled or quadrupled revenues annually. As a board member, advisor and interim executive to media and technology companies, Mr. Pritchard has worked in the brand building, advertising and digital media space, as well as in the location based and themed attraction industries, in the software and internet content sectors, in the TV and film production areas, and in the live theater (Broadway) arena.
