Associates David PottsDavid Potts Second Year AssociateAfter completing a composting/graphic design apprenticeship David worked as a corporate graphic designer.While he enjoyed the creative elements of graphic design it did not satisfy all his interests or aspirations.With a passion for design and the desire to use his hands he went on to complete the furniture designer/maker diploma at Marleston TAFE.David sees endless options in terms of his materials and learning the possibilities and constraints of each new one. ,I think it's important to work in different fields to develop new concepts and ideas.'This piece, the ticking bedside cabinet, is part of his efforts to develop furniture out of inexpensive materials in a unique and contemporary style.He aims to produce simple yet effective furniture for modern living.
