David Mitchell Ostrower, Chairman, President & CEO
Mr. Ostrower has served as President/CEO of Tele-Flex Systems, Inc. since its inception in 1990.He began his career with Coca-Cola in 1983 as a computer programmer.He then accepted a position with Chase Manhattan Bank in 1984, working in their overseas corporation.Mr. Ostrower was responsible for the creation of Chase's Fiduciary Deposit System, which is used today in their Caribbean operation.In 1985, he moved to Guadeloupe to design and oversee Chase's French West Indies auditing operations.In 1986 he left Chase and began working for American Network Exchange (AMNEX) as a Senior Analyst, but was soon promoted to Programming Director.Soon after Mr. Ostrower was promoted to Director of MIS Operations, and was responsible for both the programming and operations division of the company.He was later promoted to Vice President of Product Development, and was responsible for the creation of AMNEX's live and automated operator systems.In 1989, Mr. Ostrower left AMNEX to start Tele-Flex Systems, Inc. and has remained the chief development architect of its software to date.Mr. Ostrower graduated from Guilford College in 1979, while attending Duke University and the University of North Carolina.Mr. Ostrower earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management.
