As CCX's top executive, Mr. McClimon is responsible for the overall management of Con-Way's largest operating unit.Mr. McClimon, who has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, was named to his current position in 2002.He previously served as president and CEO of CCX's sister company, Con-Way Western Express (CWX) from 2000 to 2002 and as vice president, sales for CCX from 1997 to 2000.A "day one" CCX employee, Mr. McClimon joined the Con-Way organization in May 1983 as a member of the company's startup team following five years in operations with Roadway Express.Starting as an account manager in Cincinnati, he was elevated to service center manager in 1986.He was promoted to northwest region manager in 1988.Based in Milwaukee, he successfully managed an aggressive project to develop CCX's service center network in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Western Illinois.In 1989, he became region manager in Chicago, and subsequently directed the strategic expansion of CCX's presence in the Chicagoland and western Indiana markets.In 1993, he was promoted to vice president, national sales for Con-Way Transportation Services.Mr. McClimon serves on the board of directors of the California Trucking Association and is a member of the Council of Logistics Management and the National Industrial Transportation League.He

headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan. and is a native of Cleveland, Ohio.Mr. McClimon earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
