was responsible for new power management components for wireless applications, PLLs, and data converters.Previously, Mr. Matty was Vice President of Corporate Research and Development for Brooktree Corporation, an early fabless semiconductor company.
In this position, his
responsibilities included CAD, ASIC library development, and mixed-signal cores.Earlier in his career, Mr. Matty spent 13 years at Unisys Corporation (UIS) holding a variety of management and technical positions in design and CAD for CMOS processors.Mr. Matty received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Utah and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
