David joined the Craig Mostyn Group in 1996.
Following roles as the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Operation Officer, he was appointed CEO of the Group in 2004.
In early 2006, David relocated the Group's head office to Perth, WA, in order to increase strategic focus on the Group's core operating divisions of Meat & Livestock, Recycling ad Food.
Since then, David
has overseen a number of key acquisitions by the Group
which have grown each of the divisions.
David was appointed to the Board of Food Industry Association of WA in 2007, and chaired that body from 2008 to 2011.
In 2012 he was appointed as Chairman of the Western Australian Meat Industry Authority (WAMIA).
In January 2014, he was appointed as a non-executive director of Water Corporation.
In 2012, David
was recognised as the Australian Agribusiness Leader of the year.
In 2013, David
was inducted as an Australian Export Hero by the Export Council of Australia
David is Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce of University of New South Wales.
Prior to joining Craig Mostyn Group, he worked for Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Sydney, Toronto, Canada and in Birmingham, UK.
experience was primarily in consulting services and insolvency, incuding turn arounds and strategic planning for diverse range of companies.
