David Kennedy, Professor of Structural Engineering at Cardiff School of Engineering, is working with Waikato University's Associate Professor Ilanko on a project exploring 'negative structures'.
New-Zealand2 The research centres on the mathematical concept of negative mass, using the principles in this field of study to develop a theoretical framework that will help predict the vibration behaviour of complex structures.
