Father David Hemann, a priest with the Diocese of Sioux City since 1985, will also present a concert during the weekend festivities.
This free concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the church.
The musically-gifted priest has been quoted as saying, "It's my hope that all who listen to this (music) are drawn into the experience of beauty and in that experience they trace it to the source of all beauty - God.
When we experience God, our hearts and lives are changed for the better and so is our world.
has produced six CDs of his
music throughout the years and has even provided copies of his
performances to both Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI.
Presently he serves as pastor at Sacred Heart Church in Ida Grove, Our Lady of Good Counsel in Holstein and St. Martin in Odebolt.
He recently was appointed pastor at St. Michael's Church in Sioux City and that assignment will begin July 17.
has also served in parishes in Carroll, Storm Lake, Boone, Hospers, Sanborn and Hartley.
