David, of Needham Hall & Co Chartered Accountants, ran a staggering 132.5 miles to support the UK's Armed Forces veterans charity.
himself is no stranger to marathons, so far having run eighty, this non-stop test of stamina and determination is a challenge that few complete.
Running from North Devon to Wiltshire, finishing at the Forces Festival on the 29th May, David
completed the distance in 19 hours, 32 minutes and 38 seconds, the fastest runner to complete the challenge this year!
Athletic glory aside, David
has also managed to raise £4414.50 for Project 65, close to his
fundraising goal of £5000.
Project 65 aims to ease the difficulties facing veterans, from healthcare and mobility, to housing and employment.
The money David has raised will help support those serving in or have served in the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, who have been involved in current or previous conflicts.
