David A Aaker, Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran
Dave was a classmate, teammate and a freind. His kindness is something that is hard to forget. We pray that God heels the broken hearts of his family and congregation. Dave was my pastor back in the eighties. I had alot of fun going to church camp with Dave. He always made me laugh. I also was baptized by Dave and am very grateful for that. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. He was definately one of the nicest people I have met (also as a pastor). So sorry to hear about the death of David. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and church in this time of loss. I was in David's graduating high school class, and know well his humor, intelligence, kindness, and generosity. It's just that Dave was carrying living water in a bucket and it splashed along whatever path he walked; and on that trail grows beautiful life still. We received this news just today and want him to know that our church family will be praying for him and his family, as well as David's wonderful church family in Cleveland. We are thankful David is now with the One he has lived for and served all of his life. David was an excellent neighbor. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers. He was also loved and adored my many. Dave and I were friends thru our MBC and Lincoln Seminary days. He was a humble person. I never saw him lose his temper or brag on himself. He has always been a wonderful example of a servant. He will be missed by so many. David was loved by so many and will be missed by more people than we will ever know. He touched more people than we will ever know. Gene and I loved David. He preached God's message in a way we could remember what he said and apply it to our lives. He will be sorely misssed. My heart goes out to Velma and her family. David was our friend and minister. We will miss him. David was also a great cook! We enjoyed his creations at our many church potlucks.
