As PwC Canada's CIO, David is accountable for the firm's IT strategy and delivery.
He sits on the IT Strategy Council, where the CIOs of the larger firms in PwC's global network set the global strategic direction for IT and govern its standards and shared services.
David is also chair of the PwC Americas CIO Governance Committee, which oversees a common IT delivery model, and shared project and operations services for the PwC member firms in the Americas.
David has over 20 years of experience in the technology field.
He has held leadership roles at corporations in a variety of industries.
Prior to joining PwC, David worked as a Divisional VP at Canadian Tire Corp., reporting to the CIO, with over 9 years in varying responsibilities across the IT team including corporate and store technology enablement, supply chain IT operations, architecture and application services.
Before that, David held many roles over nine years at Bell Mobility where he progressed through diverse management and director roles where responsibilities included architecture, applications services, IT technology and operations.
David was also part of the core team transforming IT services with CGI services.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo's Bachelor
of Math program, David
