"The increased development in offshore activities in Abu Dhabi will keep us busy for some time...and I am upbeat about the future of offshore vessels in this part of the world due to mega offshore projects and the stabilising of crude oil prices," said Darwish Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Esnaad, Abu Dhabi.

The agreement was signed by Mr Darwish Al Qubaisi, General Manager of ESNAAD and Dr Engineer Mustafa Massad, the Director of JAMS in a bid to co-operate together to develop a system of learning on the Arabian seas based on new technology and an exchange of ideas and experience.
Mr Al Qubaisi explained that ESNAAD is aiming to increase Emiratisation in the marine sector and to develop the skills of officers in this field, saying "currently 39% of ESNAAD's workforce is Emirati and we are on target to achieve our goal of 75% of core positions to be filled by UAE Nationals by 2014".
