South Hamilton, Massachusetts - April 27, 2007- New England's premier Grand Prix show jumping competition, The Jumper Classic, is pleased to announce that Darren Graziano will join the Board of Directors.
, one of the nation's top show jumping professionals, has competed at major shows on the east coast of the United States and Canada since the 1980s.

By assuming the duties of a board member of the Jumper Classic

Having known Darren

tremendous enthusiasm for The Jumper Classic

has competed here.
In 2005, he
captured the win in the $5,000 Herb Chambers Mercedes-Benz Speed Stake aboard Allure, a nine-year-old mare owned by clients Carol and Andrew Clarkson.
That weekend he
was USEF Champion at Level 6 with Allure, and at Level 7 with Presioso.
At the 2006 Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic, he
won 3rd place behind Leslie Burr Howard and winner Kent Farrington (also winner of the Grand Prix) aboard Zorro.
wins aboard Allure, who was Circuit Champion in the 1.35 Division at West Palm Beach, Florida this season, and won "seven or eight classes, which is hard to do with so many entries in each class."
As a young rider, Graziano
won the Northeast Regional Maclay Finals in 1989 and captured both the team and the individual gold medal at the North American Young Rider Championships in 1990.

Like many professional show jumpers, Darren
competes in the winter in Wellington, Florida, but is based in Carmel, New York the other three seasons.
