Danielle Scheiner - Deputy Director
Greater Conroe Economic Development Council
As Deputy Director of the Greater Conroe Economic Development Council, Danielle is responsible for marketing the community to new businesses and helping them navigate the incentive process.
has specialization in the areas of economic and tourism development, event planning and coordination, community and government relations, marketing, public relations and strategic planning.
Danielle is about to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Montgomery County United Way, is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for Leadership Montgomery County and is a member of the LMC Alumni Association.
She also serves as the incoming Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce.
Danielle is a member of the Aggie Women Former Student Network and the Lone Star College Women's Advisory Council.
Danielle received a BS in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University in College Station.
She is a certified Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) through the Community Development Council, as well as a certified quality service training instructor through the TAMU Extension service.
Danielle previously served as the community development manager for the Entergy Texas economic development team, where she coordinated the Team City program for communities in the western part of the Entergy Texas service area.
She was also the Director of the Lake Conroe Area Convention & Visitors Bureau for six years.
Prior to that, she worked for the State Preservation Board for six years, serving in various capacities as manager of the Capitol Visitors Center, event coordinator at the Capitol, and as an assistant to the Senate liaison.
