Award winning actor Danielle Quisenberry (Los Angeles Global Film Festival, Flagstaff Film Festival) trained at Edge and couldn't be happier to be part of the team. She lives and works as a professional actor and teacher in glorious NYC (where she always wanted to live and work), sharing her cozy East Village digs with her beautiful parakeet, Angel Bird.
Originally from Owensboro KY, she has been involved in the arts since she was a child and at age 18 began to work as a professional performer. No longer a newbie, her resume now includes stage and film work and at least 10 different genres of voice over.
Gaining skills as an interdisciplinary arts instructor while working her way through The School of Music at The University of Michigan, she added teaching to her performing life and is proud to have been a faculty member at The Actors Studio MFA program at Pace University, The School at Alvin Ailey and The New York Film Academy. Between gigs, she earned a certificate in Radio and Television Production and Performance from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, and after a short career in major market radio her VO career took off. This year she added Fiat, Mrs. Meyers Household Cleaners and Verizon to her already impressive client list.
Danielle teaches the Technique 101 classes at EDGE and the popular Acting of Voice Acting class, and is available for private coaching in the NY studio or via phone or Skype. She specializes in commercials, narrations and telephony. Academic interests include acting methodologies, movement and the physical process of vocal production. She is particularly interested in how advances in neuroscience affect teaching and adult learning in the arts.

"My husband and I are not professional dancers, nor do we really dance that much socially, so we were thrilled to work with Danielle in preparation for our wedding. Danielle works very personally with couples, not forcing techniques that would seem very staged for some of us, but sticking to a dance that reflects the style of the pair. She started by teaching us the basics of ballroom, which helped us learn how to move around the floor together. From this, she helped us select a dance that would fit our song and our personalities. We laughed through every lesson, never feeling pressured to do a move that didn't suit us, and Danielle was superb in modifying steps to match the space, our attire, and the mood of our reception. We could not have been happier with the result. We felt comfortable and confident when we danced our first dance, and we had a great time, as well. It is a very special memory for us, and we have Danielle to thank for it."
...
We first saw Danielle at practice session at the Sandra Cameron dance studio and we knew immediately we wanted her to be our private instructor. Danielle helped us plan an international standard waltz routine and she lent us cds to help us settle on a song. In the midst of the stress of wedding planning we found we both really looked forward to our sessions with Danielle. We found Danielle to be fun, motivating instructor and we felt she was personally invested in making our wedding day a success. In ten private sessions, we found we had completed the entire bronze syllabus for international standard waltz! When the moment of truth finally came, we were able to execute thanks to the confidence and training Danielle instilled in us. Many guests later came up to us gushing about how professional we looked. Looking back, we are so happy to have invested in lessons with Danielle.
