Daniel Saad was named president of Liberty Energy Utilities (New Hampshire) Corp. and its two subsidiaries, Liberty Utilities (Granite State Electric) Corp. and Liberty Utilities (EnergyNorth Natural Gas) Corp., as of August 1, 2014.
The former vice president of National Grid
has been named president of the chapter of Liberty Energy Utilities
in New Hampshire, the firm that bought National Grid's state operations in 2012.
Daniel Saad will be the new president of Liberty Energy Utilities (New Hampshire) Corp. and its two subsidiaries, the former Granite State Electric. and the former EnergyNorth Natural Gas operations, as of Aug. 1.
Saad has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, with an extensive operations background in the Northeast.
"It will be very exciting to lead this young company as we serve the needs of our electric and natural gas customers in New Hampshire," said Saad
in a prepared statement.
Liberty Energy Utilities
purchased the New Hampshire assets of National Grid
has since grown to nearly 300 employees and opened a new corporate office in Londonderry.
Saad previously held the position of vice president of operations and engineering for Liberty.
Previously, he worked for National Grid for 23 years, most recently as vice president.
