The Palatine Public Library District Board of Library Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Rodgers to fill a vacancy on the Board.
Rodgers was sworn in at a meeting of the Board on November 11, 2015. Rodgers is currently on the board of directors for HandsOn Suburban Chicago and Lumity, two nonprofit organizations serving the Chicagoland area. From August 2006 to May 2014, Daniel Rodgers was senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Forsythe Technology, headquartered in Skokie, IL. He has more than 25 years of management and senior management roles. Rodgers holds a bachelor's degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, and a master's degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. He was chosen to fill the Board vacancy from a field of nine applicants. Rodgers and his family have lived in Palatine for almost 30 years.
