Dan Hogan was born and raised in Syracuse, New York in the Tipperay Hill Area.
has lived and worked in The Rochester area for over 30 years.
Dan is the President and CEO of Crane Hogan Structural Systems Inc., a local General Construction company, and has served as the New York Chairman for the Associated General Contractors of America, Chairman for The Monroe County Case Commission and the CCE Budget Commission, and is on the Board of Directors of Unicon.
Dan is also a Board Director for The Genesee Transportation Council, The Monroe County Empire Zone, The America Rock Salt Corporation, and The Hughes Corporation.
Dan also serves as a member of the SUNY Brockport College Council, a Trustee for the Rochester Laborers Welfare & Pension Fund and a Board Director for Genesee Regional Bank.
Dan graduated High School from Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, New York and attained a B.S. Accounting Degree from LeMoyne College.
After college, Dan enlisted in the Navy Seabees where he served in Viet Nam.
After his tour in the service, Dan returned to Syracuse and started his construction career working for a local Syracuse Contractor, Congel-Reuter, Inc.
Dan moved to Rochester in 1975 and started Crane-Hogan Structural Systems, Inc. with his friend and partner, Jim Crane.
is married to Melanie and lives in Spencerport, New York.
They have two sons; Collin, a mechanical engineer, married and living in Boston; and Devin, a recent graduate from Syracuse University
Some local projects of note that Dan
has completed in recent years are; the new Frontier Field Stadium, Blue Cross-Blue Shield Arena at The Rochester War Memorial, the Irondequoit Bay Swing Bridge, the Rebuilding of The Bay Bridge over Irondequoit Bay, the Reconstruction of The Veteran's Memorial Bridge over The Genesee River, and the completion of the new O'Rorke Bridge over the Genesee River.
