Mr. Daniel Fils-Aimé Sr. has been working in the Haitian Community for over 20 years. He is the Founder/Chairman of the Haitian American Historical Society (HAHS), a nonprofit 501(c ) (3) organization that built the Haitian Memorial Monument in Savannah, Georgia. This great organization is dedicated to educate and promote Haitian history through art and cultural events for a better understanding of the rich history and positive cooperation between Haitians, Haitian-Americans and others. Founder/President of Miami Minibus Transportation Service Inc., he has been providing ground transportation services to the residents of Miami-Dade County for over 20 years; he is also the co-founder of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florid (HACCOF). After completing his high school at Lycée Pétion in Port-au-Prince Haiti, Mr. Fils-Aimé traveled to Montréal, Canada where he studied Mechanical and Technical Diesel at Avalon Technical School. Upon his arrival in the United States, he studied Diesel Mechanic at Robert Technical School in Brooklyn; he worked for Greyhound Bus Transportation Service in New York as a Diesel Mechanic Technician, supervisor and driver for over 15 years. Mr. Fils-Aimé studied Realty and Appraisal at Miami Dade College in Miami, Ground Transportation Specialty Surface Transit and Rail at Florida International University (FIU).
