As the fire training continued Thursday, Battalion Chief Dan Truckey worked at the two-story home with others from the department's technical rescue team.

Truckey previously cut the roof with a chainsaw to simulate a collapse.
Truckey said crews have faced similar cases this year, including a roof collapse after a March snowstorm at Accents Interiors Consignment Gallery on West Mason Street on Green Bay's west side.
Special dogs and sound equipment can be used to locate trapped victims, Truckey said.
"If you ever get caught in a building, find a piece of metal and tap it," he said, noting the technology can pick up faint sounds.
