Projects - Rensselaer Land Trust

With funding from the Louis and Hortense Rubin Community Fellows Program, the Rensselaer Land Trust is partnering with Dan Capuano, Assistant Professor of Biology at Hudson Valley Community College, to develop a plan for managing the invasive species at our John B. Staalesen Vanderheyden Preserve.
Mr. Capuano will lead the effort to develop this plan, and we hope to complete it this year.

Dan Capuano has been a member of the biology faculty at Hudson Valley Community College for 16 years specializing in areas of ecology and environmental science.
He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Albany in the Department of Biology's Ecology, Evolution and Behavior Program (EEB). His area of study is forest communities.
