Dale graduated with a B.A. in Art from San Jose State University in 1975.
After college he
experienced life on the road, spending eight years as an independent trucker hauling freight across country.
Having survived that he
turned to painting full-time in 1985.
has lived most of his
life in the Central Valley and foothills of California and currently lives and maintains his
painting studio in Mountain Ranch, California.
He is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, and Watercolor West.

An active workshop instructor, Dale has presented widely in both the U.S. and abroad and will conduct a watercolor workshop at the Kings Art Center on Friday and Saturday Feb. 6 and 7.
