...Dale L. Jacobs, PEWhen Dale joined the firm in 1983, he brought with him 20 years of engineering and construction experience in military, public works, commercial, institutional, and medical facility projects.
Since that time, Dale
has focused on construction management, and structural and site design in medical and institutional facilities.Much of his
earlier experience was gained as a USAF construction engineering officer, city planner, city engineer and through his
own design firm.After joining BSA Design, he directed the site and structural departments before assuming responsibility for the construction services group which manages construction projects for the firm. In addition to his duties as Senior Contract Manager, Dale has developed several management processes to minimize paperwork and expedite the construction process.
One such process is the Electronic Submittal Process (ESP) which has been presented as several professional conferences including the American Consulting Engineers Council Annual Conference.Dale is an associate faculty member lecturing in site design at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
Dale's recent list of projects include research, institutional, military, medical and hospital facilities in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Florida, New Mexico, West Virginia, and Greenland.During the past 12 years Dale
has applied his
skills as a Senior Contract Manager for many major BSA Design
