"I don't think at any time during the season were we too down," said Poudre coach Curtis Glesmann, whose team had dropped four of its previous six games.
Included in that stretch were losses to No. 3 Legacy, No. 5 Monarch and No. 9 Horizon. Fossil Ridge, meanwhile, had won five of six and beat Monarch and Fairview among those five victories. "We've been in every single basketball game, but those close calls, we don't get a lot of satisfaction out of anymore," Glesmann added. "I don't think our confidence was shaken too much, and we had beaten them earlier in the year," Glesmann said.
