Gabbert, Jr. CRAIG GABBERT, a respected leader in commercial bankruptcy and reorganization law, was Best Lawyers' 2010 Nashville Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Lawyer of the Year and is top ranked in Chambers and Partners - America's Leading Lawyers for Business in commercial litigation/bankruptcy. Throughout his career, Craig has represented both debtors and creditors in many of the most visible workouts and bankruptcies in Tennessee. He is particularly skilled at negotiating with creditors, finding capital, facilitating settlements and generally guiding his clients through the restructuring process. Craig is equally regarded for his work in commercial litigation. He represents clients in a wide-range of disputes, including those resulting from breach of contract, non-competes and securities offerings. His ability to negotiate deals led him to become an approved Rule 31 General Civil Mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court. Craig has served as a director of the Nashville Bar Association and was inducted as a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation in 1994.
