"In order to ensure continuous service to as many customers as possible during construction, city water operations personnel will manually fill the reservoirs supplying this area prior to shut down," said Craig Dotseth, Utilities Operations Manager for the City of Prescott.
"During the night, they will monitor and transfer water as needed to cover usage." Dotseth also noted that "If all goes well and the outage is kept to the proposed time frame, we should be able to supply water to all of our customers, other then the small area between Hassayampa Lane and Copper Vista, including Butte Vista."
