Elected To Serve As Secretary Of North Carolina Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division
6/26/2007Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC announced today that Craig Cannon, a member of the firm's Products Liability Litigation Practice Group, has been elected to serve as the Secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division.Cannon is an associate in Womble Carlyle's Winston-Salem office.
The Young Lawyers Division's broad-ranging responsibilities include promoting public service and the professional development of lawyers in the initial stages of their careers.The Young Lawyers Division has approximately 4,000 members spread throughout the state of North Carolina. Cannon has previously held a variety of leadership positions within the Young Lawyers Division and was named the 2005-2006 recipient of the Charles F. Blanchard Outstanding Young Lawyer Award by the North Carolina Bar Association.He is also active in the triad-area community and currently serves as a member of various volunteer boards, including the Board of Trustees of Old Salem Museums & Gardens.
