CALDWELL NAMED TRUSTEE AT DCCCMEDIA, PA -- Dr. Corrinne A. Caldwell of Media has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Delaware County Community College.Caldwell
will serve a four-year term ending in 2007. Caldwell is professor of education at Temple University, teaching courses in Case Study Research Methods, Two-Year Colleges, and Educational Policy.Previously, Caldwell was Dean of Temple University Ambler Campus and vice president for distance and continuing education at Temple, responsible for all distance and continuing education programs except those at the medical and law schools.She served also as acting provost and chief academic officer responsible for faculty and curricular affairs for 1,600 full-time and 900 part-time faculty members in the University's 16 schools and colleges. In that position, she served as chair of Temple's Council of Deans and the Committee on Academic Planning and was a member of University committees including the Middle States Self Study Group, the University Cabinet and the University Budget Review Committee. Caldwell holds a Ph.D. in education leadership, higher education from the University of Pennsylvania.She earned a master of social work degree and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and English from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Professional associations include Board Member Emeritus status following more than 20 years service to the American Council of Education Pennsylvania Program for Women
.In addition she also served on the Accreditation Committee of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities.
