Corey GatesVice President of Technology Corey Gates joined HearMe in April 2000, when HearMe merged with AudioTalk Networks.
A technology and communications industry veteran, Gates oversees product development, network operations and professional services for the Company.He co-founded AudioTalk in August 1998 as vice president of technology.
While there he
was instrumental in building SIP and H.323 compliant hardware and software server products that provided PC and phone-based VoIP customer care and conferencing products.Prior to AudioTalk, Gates was principal engineer at FVC.COM, a leading provider of rich media communications infrastructure products, including systems and services that enable system integrators and service providers to deliver an integrated suite of collaboration applications to its enterprise customers.
While at FVC.com
spearheaded technical development of FVC.com's ATM, ISDN, and H.323 IP gateway product families.Gates has held similar positions with such leading communications and media technology providers as Creative Labs and ShareVision Technology where he drove the development of new video conferencing products and technologies. Gates holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
