Featured artist is Connie Ballato
This year's featured artist is Connie Ballato of Lewes. Ballato's art hangs in Lewes Presbyterian Church and in Sen. Today, Ballato works full time creating art in her Sunglass Studio in Lewes. To create durable artwork, she uses the copper-foil technique - the same method used by Louis Comfort Tiffany, whose work in the late 1800s through early 1920s is regarded by many as some of the world's finest stained glass artwork. Ballato said her love of outdoors influences her art. "Mostly it's nature. I just see things that inspire me," she said.
