Colin was appointed Chief Executive Officer (also known as the Executive Director) of SPAEN in February 2013 at which time he stepped down as the company's Chairman.
Prior to the permanent appointment, Colin had held the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer since November 2012 and had been Chairing SPAEN's Board of Directors since January 2012.
Colin has worked across the public, private and 3rd sector at senior and strategic level, from Head of Criminal Records with one of Scotland's police forces to Head of Customer Operations with a voluntary sector organisation and Director of a global management consultancy firm.
Colin graduated in Management from the Open University Business School in 2005 and also holds qualifications in communications and marketing; is a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD); Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI) and Member of the Institute of Consulting (MIC).
Colin continues to serve as a Trustee & Executive Director of SPAEN and is also the company's Secretary and Treasurer.
